These double cap rivets are made of steel, with nickel plating. Package of 1000 caps, 1000 posts.

I've been a leathercrafter for 12 years. Since I was going through 1000+ of these a month, I sourced my own direct from a manufacturer.

Nickel plated steel Double Cap rivets functionally identical to those sold by Tandy Leather Factory Item #1375-22 in their "LARGE" length. Fits Tandy press and dies with the medium size rivet cups, or hand setters. For best results, use the press, as hand setting long rivets through material thinner than 11mm or 7/16" will often cause them to mis-set and bend the posts to one side.

I buy these in bulk (100,000 sets) and repackage them by weight, not quantity. You'll receive 1000 minimum pieces of each caps and posts, as I add a few extra grams to the bundles to be sure. I use these same parts for my own leathercraft in a Tandy press, they work better than Tandy's if not the same.

Your rivets will come packaged exactly as you see in the photo - heavy 4mil bag with an internal zipper bag to keep the caps separate from the posts.
