Sex Bolts, also commonly known as Chicago screws, are Do-It-Yourself fasteners that can be easily removed and re-installed, unlike rivets which are permanent. These work well on belts with removable buckles, as well as for keeping straps in alignment when a large range in fit has been selected (see images). These are also useful for any leather pieces which need occasional disassembly and reassembly by the owner.

There are two size screw threads available. Small threads have heads that are 10mm wide, shaft 4mm across, threads of the screw are M3 (3mm). Available in post height between 3 and 10mm, depending upon the thickness of material where you will use it - tell me in the notes how thick your material is, and I will select the correct fastener for you. Large threads have heads that are more flush, and are 13/32" (10.4mm) wide, shaft is 3/16" (5mm) across, threads of the screw are SAE #8 x 32 threads per inch. Available in post height between 1/8 and 1/2 inch. The shortest ones have a hollow cap to allow the screw through the middle. Both are made from 304 Stainless Steel, so generally resistant to rust even when immersed in water. Rinse or wipe away perspiration to avoid rust spotting.
