These leashes are between 45 and 48 inches, as long as the entire hide of a cow, in half because the leather is doubled back onto itself. Some hides are smaller than others, so if you need a very specific length, please ask! Made from soft chap leather they are quite flexible and comfortable. They're also incredibly strong, because they are stitched with 277 nylon cord, which has a break strength of 45 pounds per strand. And there are 4 strands down the length of the leash. The handle is an additional layer of the same color chap leather, or a contrasting color as you like. Pictured is a leash in black, with a white inside strap, white stitching on the liner, black for the outer.
